I Love This Song...

It's the Young Women's Anthem this year and I play it over and over (which Brian absolutely LOVES). Addie's even figured out how to hit the space bar to make it play again.

Happy Birthday Addie!

This summer Addie's decided that life is much better when all you wear is underwear. Every time she's left alone for more than 2 seconds, she's taken her clothes off. In 75% of the pictures I have, she bears a striking resemblance to Mogli from The Jungle Book so this picture is actually one of the more modest one's we have:

She's been begging for a princess suitcase for months now. I thought it would just be a passing whim, but it's stuck so she finally got one. She puts all of her toys that she can into it and rolls it along EVERYWHERE. She gets mad when I won't let her take it in stores, she sleeps with it beside her bed, and it's always right next to her when she's using the toilet.

She got these building blocks for her birthday and I'm pretty sure Brian is more entertained with them than she is (and she likes them quite a bit!).

Inspired by X-Men, Brian built her this:

She got some hair clips from Jonathan and Jerrica so she fixed her own hair for a couple of days. BEAUTIFUL!

Spring

Tyler lived with us for a few months and worked for Brian. Here is proof that they actually did emerge from the theater on occasion to take 5-minute breaks from Call of Duty. They found productive uses of their time like this:

Merrin visited for a few days in April and I was terrible at taking pictures, but I did manage to get one of Addie and Avery.

I went to Montana in the end of April/beginning of May. Eva and Addie were inseparable.
They wanted to sleep together so we set them up on a mattress. This is what we found when we went in to check on them:

Here are a bunch of random one's of Taylor:

If you make fun of his pink boppy, he might just hit you with a golf club.

To Compensate For the Previous Post...

Since Brian devoted an entire blog post to a heart attack inducing burger, I figured it was probably time to post some pictures of Taylor.

Taylor Ethan Sharp
8lbs. 6oz.

Brian demonstrates his amazing multitasking abilities.
Addie LOVES Taylor. She always wants to hold him and be around him. She constantly asks if he can sleep in her bed. She's even tried to get him out of bed a couple of times because "he told her he wanted to play." Luckily I've always seen her before she's completely lifted him up.

Addie has hit the phase where I can't get a normal picture of her. Every time the camera comes out, she starts making crazy faces so that's why she looks a little nuts in every picture of her.
And poor little Taylor is slowly going bald. He had a lot of hair when he was born, but little by little he's turning into Mr. Clean.

Mom thinks that he looks like Mr. T in this last photo and sadly, I can totally see it.

Finally Something Worth Blogging About

It has been a while since our family has had something to write about that we would find important enough to remember for the rest of our lives. This weekend we had two of our friends over for a barbecue and we discovered the food of which the gods feast. It was clear to us that we invented something so divine because as soon as we created this marvelous miracle it was instantly translated by the gods for their own pleasure. It was truly a treat to the sight, smell, and taste. I proudly introduce to you "THE SCEBB" (GRILLED SAUSAGE, CHICKEN, FRIED EGG, BACON, AND 100% 1/3lb ANGUS BEEF PATTY w/ CHEESE)
I believe that this pictures clearly depicts the result of our discovery.

Minute to Win It

For Brian's birthday, we played Minute to Win It. I forgot to even get the camera out until half-way through and then we weren't too good at getting many pictures. There were 12 different challenges and we definitely saw some awesome talent emerging from everyone.

Chocolate Unicorn - Adrienne had to balance 7 ding dongs on her forehead

Bobby's try
We had to bring M&M's up to our mouths using string and pencils and then try to eat them

The first video is Adrienne shaking 8 ping pong balls out of the Kleenex box. The next three are some of the guys trying to pick up paper bags of varying heights with only their mouths. We somehow made it through the night without a single pic or video of Cheri or Jerrica, but any time you need someone who's amazing at picking up cotton balls with their nose (which had Vaseline on it), Cheri's your person and Jerrica can scoot around on a rug through an obstacle course of toilet paper rolls shockingly well.

This is Addie on Thanksgiving. I had on an apron and she came out wearing her Home Depot apron that she wears when she and Brian go there to build stuff.

As for me, the doctor thinks I should be induced about a week early since Addie was big and he thinks this one will be big. We're doing an ultrasound on Tuesday to see. I'd rather not be induced just because the baby's a little big so I'm really hoping he decides to come early on his own, but whatever happens, we can't wait to finally meet our little guy.

Halloween and St. Louis

Addie was a cupcake for Halloween, but she only wore her costume about 10% of the time. When she saw that it was necessary to wear it to get candy, she put it on for a little while. She told me that "it's not comfy."

We went to St. Louis for 4 days with Craig, Cheri, their family, Sandy, PJ, Ron and Jane. Our camera was out of commission for a lot of the trip so I had to steal this picture from Craig and Cheri's blog and Sandy took lots of pics for us so I'll have to get some from her.

This one's for you Dad :)

Brian told Addie that if she smiled, he'd give her candy so this is her attempt.

Trying a little harder...

Addie thoroughly enjoyed Cheri's birthday cake.
