Our New House!

We're so excited to be living in our very own brand new house! After many many home showings, we settled on this beauty. And we couldn't have done it without the gracious and loving help from my brother Craig and his beautiful wife Cheri. They went above and beyond by letting us live with them for a month and half, making incredible meals for us, and making sure we felt right at home from the beginning! We can't say enough about their awesome family. Thanks Craig and Cheri -- you guys are the BEST!

Short Updates

Crissy ran in the Baltimore City 10 miler this past weekend and got 3rd place in her division with a time of 1 hour 19 minutes. Unlike some previous races where the runner count was less then questionable, this race had over 3000 runners.Crissy and Sandra Taylor before the race. This is my first Father's Day meal. A one pound filet mignon, potato salad, carrot cake and a cold glass of milk.My Father's Day gift. Well, it's been a while since our last addition to our family, and we are pleased to announce the newest member of our family. Our 2000 Chevrolet Corvette.

Addie's First Birthday!

This last week was Addie's first Birthday. Crazy, I know. We had originally decided to have a her a birthday party at our place with her little friends but after realistically thinking about the logistics of having 20 chocolate cake covered hands running around our apartment, the plans were quickly vetoed. It's family that counts anyways, right?

This was Addie's big gift. A new chair.

We would like to thank everyone for all the generous gifts. Addison loved everyone. Even the cards she received in the mail.

At last. The moment she had been waiting for. We decieded to let Addison have her way with the cake since it was her birthday. Unfortunately, the cake was cold and a little stiff so it was not as messy as i had hoped.

The next morning, Addie had a little hangover from the night before, so we had to take it easy the next morning.

This past weekend we went to Philadelphia to visit our friends from college Jamie and Conrad, oh wait. No, Conrad had to work the whole time. We had a blast anyways. Upon arrival Jamie had made homemade cinnamon rolls that were to die for. While there i was also able check off some of my prerequisites that i needed in order to enter into True Manhood.

Oh Yes! Geno's. Philadelphia's best voted CheeseSteaks. This place was great. Geno's had two lines, one for Cheesesteaks, and one for soda and fries. I was a little hesitant about ordering a cheesesteak from Geno's due to their lack of options.
1) With onions or without
2) Provolone or Cheeze Whiz (WHAT??)
That's right cheese whiz, and thats how people eat'em. The food was awesome. Crissy didn't care for it to much, but i loved it. I'm craving one right now just thinking about it. I have to say that for some reason i felt as if this would be a place i would see my brother in law John eating at alot. So, get this. After we ate we went to a nearby park and had frozen ice. As we were playing in the park this taradactle or hawk flies down on the swings and stairs us down. This demon creature had to of been no shorter than 4 feet. As i tried to get closer and closer to take a picture of this feathery demon, it jumped off towards me and swept right over my head.

Addison Updates

Addison loves cuddling up with dad....as long as he has a full bottle of milk.

Addison is slowly turning more and more into the perfect girl. As you can see, her favorite place besides the dishwasher, in the pantry, with the dishes, is the Crissy's makeup drawer. Yesterday she emptied one of Crissy's Sephora eye shadow on to the carpet.

Addison decided to burn a few extra calories with dad for the summer season.

Maybe She Got It From Her Dad?

As family will note, (Please don't) Brian had some unusual habits, quirks, call it whatever you may, while a young child. One being a 2 year stint in elementary school where i only wore sweat pants, usually with large grass stains b/c i only had a couple pairs or one. One more quirk was my fascination with a gray shirt i inherited through my family that was a little shear, and maybe had a couple of holes, and had the most enchantingly angelic soft fabric you can possibly imagine. On this note, we bought a new rug for the kitchen. And well..Addison can't get enough of the texture against her cheeks. She loves to rub her cheeks all over the rug.

Patio Makeover

While i was at work this week, Crissy worked on converting our bug infested, sludge covered, junk covered patio into a play place for Addison.
Crissy had no idea that a 99 cent chair would make her so happy. She loves sitting in it.
Did i mention the chair came with a built in toilet? No, that's because it doesn't! ADDISON!

How did you get your beard to grow in perfect patches like that? or Isn't that the main character from the movie "Joe Dirt" or as one person said on Sunday, Brett Favre. Nope.
