Minute to Win It

For Brian's birthday, we played Minute to Win It. I forgot to even get the camera out until half-way through and then we weren't too good at getting many pictures. There were 12 different challenges and we definitely saw some awesome talent emerging from everyone.

The first video is Adrienne shaking 8 ping pong balls out of the Kleenex box. The next three are some of the guys trying to pick up paper bags of varying heights with only their mouths. We somehow made it through the night without a single pic or video of Cheri or Jerrica, but any time you need someone who's amazing at picking up cotton balls with their nose (which had Vaseline on it), Cheri's your person and Jerrica can scoot around on a rug through an obstacle course of toilet paper rolls shockingly well.




This is Addie on Thanksgiving. I had on an apron and she came out wearing her Home Depot apron that she wears when she and Brian go there to build stuff.

As for me, the doctor thinks I should be induced about a week early since Addie was big and he thinks this one will be big. We're doing an ultrasound on Tuesday to see. I'd rather not be induced just because the baby's a little big so I'm really hoping he decides to come early on his own, but whatever happens, we can't wait to finally meet our little guy.

Halloween and St. Louis

Addie was a cupcake for Halloween, but she only wore her costume about 10% of the time. When she saw that it was necessary to wear it to get candy, she put it on for a little while. She told me that "it's not comfy."




We went to St. Louis for 4 days with Craig, Cheri, their family, Sandy, PJ, Ron and Jane. Our camera was out of commission for a lot of the trip so I had to steal this picture from Craig and Cheri's blog and Sandy took lots of pics for us so I'll have to get some from her.

Brian told Addie that if she smiled, he'd give her candy so this is her attempt.

Summer Time

This post is just a little late in coming. We wanted a blog so we would have a family journal so I want to go ahead and post a few of the pics from this summer. Here are some of the highlights:

Because of the increasing popularity of the Twilight series, I figured this picture was appropriate:



When Addie falls asleep in her car seat, there's no waking her up so this was Brian's solution:


One day Addie and I were at Target and I bought her Tic Tacs so Brian told me that I give in to her too much and buy her things. That weekend he took Addie to Target and ended up coming home with a pink baseball helmet. She'll definitely get a ton of use out of that.

We went to Montana and Idaho for the majority of August:

She decided that she wanted corn, and only corn, for every meal while we were in Montana. After we got home, she tried to boycott all other food.

Things were way too quiet this morning so I walked in to Addie's room to discover that she had confiscated my scriptures and was reading them out loud. Only her version included Jesus talking to the itsy bitsy spider.

She's Got the Look

Addison's decided that she needs to dress herself, which has resulted in some pretty awesome looks. I usually try to bribe her until at least her clothes match, but then she overcompensates with her hair, jewelry, etc. After looking at the pics I have, I've realized I need to be much better about taking more. I don't have many, but here are a few:

New Addition to the Family

Well it's been while since I have posted anything on our family blog and i could not pass up such a monumental occasion for our family. Last November I gave birth to beautiful Redhead. After 1 year and 2 months of pushing, I had Honda or as we call her CBR 600, that was born at 756 pounds and 56 inches.
Now being a full fledged family man, i found it my responsibility to help my friend Bobby on the joys of familyhood.

OK for those of you who do not get it yet, i really bought a motorcycle, but it was only for medicinal reasons. I have a disease called psoriasis that requires me to get sun. Unfortunately, my face does not need the sun so I'm required to sun bath without burning my face. So...I think you know where I'm going with this, i bought the helmet for the protection from the sun that just happen to come with a motorcycle attached to it. THE END
