New Addition to the Family

Well it's been while since I have posted anything on our family blog and i could not pass up such a monumental occasion for our family. Last November I gave birth to beautiful Redhead. After 1 year and 2 months of pushing, I had Honda or as we call her CBR 600, that was born at 756 pounds and 56 inches.
Now being a full fledged family man, i found it my responsibility to help my friend Bobby on the joys of familyhood.

OK for those of you who do not get it yet, i really bought a motorcycle, but it was only for medicinal reasons. I have a disease called psoriasis that requires me to get sun. Unfortunately, my face does not need the sun so I'm required to sun bath without burning my face. So...I think you know where I'm going with this, i bought the helmet for the protection from the sun that just happen to come with a motorcycle attached to it. THE END

This was after an ice storm in January. A couple of the big trees in our backyard fell over from the weight of the ice.
Addison HATED the snow. She was happy to stand back and watch everyone else play in it.


It's actually been a lot of fun having crazy weather. Everything shuts down here for even the smallest amount of snow. Plus, after seeing the crazy weather they're having in Maryland this year, this looks pathetic in comparison.

Here are a few more random pics from the last month or so. The last 3 are of her new favorite hobby, watching Barney. She cries when we shut it off and "Barney" is the first thing she says when she wakes up.

I've been telling people that I'd post some pics of the house for a few months now and somehow I've never gotten around to doing it. So finally (after living here for 4 months), here are some pictures of the inside of the house. Thankfully Cheri (who I understand from the previous post is beautiful, loving, gracious, and an incredible cook) added a post showing the outside of the house of few months ago. I'm only showing pics of the family room and kitchen since those are the only rooms that we've finished.

Our New House!

We're so excited to be living in our very own brand new house! After many many home showings, we settled on this beauty. And we couldn't have done it without the gracious and loving help from my brother Craig and his beautiful wife Cheri. They went above and beyond by letting us live with them for a month and half, making incredible meals for us, and making sure we felt right at home from the beginning! We can't say enough about their awesome family. Thanks Craig and Cheri -- you guys are the BEST!

Short Updates

Crissy ran in the Baltimore City 10 miler this past weekend and got 3rd place in her division with a time of 1 hour 19 minutes. Unlike some previous races where the runner count was less then questionable, this race had over 3000 runners.Crissy and Sandra Taylor before the race. This is my first Father's Day meal. A one pound filet mignon, potato salad, carrot cake and a cold glass of milk.My Father's Day gift. Well, it's been a while since our last addition to our family, and we are pleased to announce the newest member of our family. Our 2000 Chevrolet Corvette.

Addie's First Birthday!

This last week was Addie's first Birthday. Crazy, I know. We had originally decided to have a her a birthday party at our place with her little friends but after realistically thinking about the logistics of having 20 chocolate cake covered hands running around our apartment, the plans were quickly vetoed. It's family that counts anyways, right?

This was Addie's big gift. A new chair.

We would like to thank everyone for all the generous gifts. Addison loved everyone. Even the cards she received in the mail.

At last. The moment she had been waiting for. We decieded to let Addison have her way with the cake since it was her birthday. Unfortunately, the cake was cold and a little stiff so it was not as messy as i had hoped.

The next morning, Addie had a little hangover from the night before, so we had to take it easy the next morning.
